Konzert-Installation

Januar 2022 "Abstract shadows IV"Jan. 28th 2022 as a part of Vorspiel - transmediale/CTM Festival concert-installation / Konzert-Installation experimental, electroacoustic with/mit Laura.aLL (guitar + electronics + visuals) "Concert-installations" are hybrid forms, compositional projects, which are formally and aesthetically between sound art and traditional performance. With objects, processed sounds, field recordings and looped videos Laura.aLL will present a new composition and an improvisational piece from her Abstract shadows series, addressing the themes of extreme consumerism and reckless accumulation. Laura.aLL (aka LauraL, Laura Leiner) is an artist and researcher with a multidisciplinary background encompassing music, performing arts, sound art, video and journalism. She is the guitarist of the band Músicas intermináveis para Viagem (Endless music for Tripping, M.i.p.V) and has participated in several artistic projects in Latin America and Europe. Since 2009 Laura lives in Berlin where she develops projects in the areas of concert-installation, sound art, dark ambient, experimental music and curatorship. https://lauraall.bandcamp.com/releases https://soundcloud.com/laural-musik https://lauralmusik.wordpress.com/ Vorspiel is a parallel program of transmediale and CTM festivals that happens before and during the festivals. It brings together initiatives, venues and collectives in a two weeks citywide distributed program, with events in the field of digital art, culture & experimental sound and music: exhibition openings, concerts, performances and interventions. "Konzert-Installationen" sind hybride Formen, kompositorische Projekte, die formal und ästhetisch zwischen Klangkunst und traditioneller Performance liegen. Mit Objekten, bearbeiteten Klängen, Feldaufnahmen und geloopten Videos wird Laura.aLL eine neue Komposition und ein improvisiertes Stück aus ihrer Serie "Abstract shadows" präsentieren, die die Themen extremer Konsum und rücksichtslose Akkumulation behandeln. Laura.aLL (alias LauraL, Laura Leiner) ist eine Künstlerin und Forscherin mit einem multidisziplinären Hintergrund, der Musik, darstellende Kunst, Klangkunst, Video und Journalismus umfasst. Sie ist die Gitarristin der Band Músicas intermináveis para Viagem (Endlose Musik zum Reisen, M.i.p.V) und hat an mehreren künstlerischen Projekten in Lateinamerika und Europa teilgenommen. Seit 2009 lebt Laura in Berlin, wo sie Projekte in den Bereichen Konzert-Installation, Klangkunst, Dark Ambient, experimentelle Musik und Kuratieren entwickelt. Vorspiel ist ein paralleles Programm zu den transmediale- und CTM-Festivals, das vor und während der Festivaltage stattfindet.
