Elia Felisati: "Extirpate"


Elia Felisati was born in Ferrara in 1988. His favorite materials are acrylic paints, varnishes and resins. Using unconventional painting techniques he has evolved and improved over time, his works alternate between abstract paintings and abstract "defaced portraits".
Through the defacing process he wants to represent an extirpation of the soul, devaluing the face of the subject and enhancing its essence by embedding it through the paintings.
