Amanda Kapsch - Igor Zavatckii Duo



From jazz standards of the American songbook to modern pop music, beautifully arranged and performed, the duo also perform a long list of their own compositions.
The clear and strong voice, the gentle piano touch and the special atmosphere will leave no music lover unmoved.

Amanda Kapsch (from Essen, Germany) studied jazz and pop singing at Folkwang University of the Arts and at the Dutch Conservatorium ArtEZ. Her voice has been described as "a gentle touch in the dark, deep as the ocean and bright as a lark".

Igor Zavatckii (from St. Petersburg, Russia) studied for his Masters at Folkwang University of the Arts. He is Steinway Jazz Prize holder (2015), active member of the Berlin jazz scene, bandleader and regular invitee of jazz festivals all across Germany.
